MARCY BOUCHER,  Fine Arts Oil Painter

As an artist, beginning at age 2, Marcy’s first drawing was of an Apatasaurus dinosaur. Ms Boucher was schooled in Fine Arts and History at Louisiana State University. She went on to apprentice at living history museums and galleries in both Arizona and New Mexico. For two years, she had a summer job recreating museum quality fossils for Black Hills Institute in South Dakota.

Ms. Boucher practices her art in several mediums…primarily focusing on natural clay sculptures and oil paintings.   She is a descendant of artists dating back to the time of Louis XIV, and  has passed on her artistic abilities to two fine daughters who may one day also see their artwork in Galleries. Marcy lives in Placitas New Mexico with her husband William Stairwalt.
